bullet SE Radiology Associates, PC was incorporated in September of 1970 as a provider of professional diagnostic radiology services. Dr. Harvey Campbell and Susan Pidgeon were the organizing partners at that time.
 
bullet Initially, the practice provided services to Annapolis Hospital located in Wayne, Michigan and to Beyer Hospital in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Annapolis and Beyer Hospital were affiliated with PCHA (People’s Community Hospital Authority) at that time.
 
bullet In 1973, SE Radiology Associates, PC opened a private office located in Wayne and provided diagnostic radiology services to the practices of the physicians in the surrounding communities.
 
bullet SE Radiology Associates, PC grew to an eight-member practice by 1988.
In 1990, Oakwood Healthcare System acquired both Beyer Hospital and Annapolis Hospital.
 
bullet In November of 2002, SE Radiology Associates, PC acquired the radiology contract for St. John Riverview Hospital under Wayne County Imaging, PC, as well as the contract for St. John Oakland Hospital in January of 2007.
 
bullet At the present time, the office in Wayne is undergoing a complete renovation and will re-open in the first quarter of 2008 as a full service digital breast care center for women in partnership with Oakwood Annapolis Hospital. The facility will be
state of the art, offering a comfortable and inviting experience for our patients and their families.
At Oakwood Annapolis Hospital, we have the only Philips Panorama 1.0 T high-field Open MRI in the area. The Philips Open MRI is the widest, most open MR system made today, greatly reducing patient anxiety and claustrophobia.

Although there has been a shortage of radiologists in the last eight years, SE Radiology Associates, PC has been fortunate to recruit young, experienced, fellowship trained physicians. We currently have a total of sixteen radiologists on staff with twelve of them being employed full-time and we are in the process of recruiting more.
